Registration Information. Information You Provide When You Purchase Products or Services. Reimagine Gender may make certain products or services available, including online and/or in-person training programs. We collect the information you provide in connection with those programs, except as otherwise specified herein.
Information Submitted to Our Forums, Websites, Private Messaging, Etc. We make certain forums, as well as chat and private messaging features, available to registered users to help enable discussion on a wide variety of topics related to gender and to other topics that we believe may be of interest to our visitors and registered users. Because information you disclose in these areas is or may become broadly accessible to others, you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose any information.
Information You Provide to Certain Service Providers. Reimagine Gender works with a variety of third-party service providers that will collect information you provide to them, and provide it to us. For example, we partner with services including Salsa for online donations; we conduct certain surveys through Survey Monkey or Google Forms; and we run event registrations through Salsa. We may from time to time change the service providers we use, and these are by way of example only. Third-party service providers operate independently of our business and may themselves retain certain information about you; we encourage you to fully review the terms of use and privacy policies of any such service you may elect to use.
Payment Processing. When you purchase a product or service, such as a training program, your payments are processed by one of our payment processors. When you make such a payment, we will receive confirmation that you have made a purchase, which may include certain information such as your name and address, item purchased, and amount of purchase. We will not receive your credit card number as a result of these transactions. Third-party payment providers operate independently of our business and may themselves retain certain information about you; we encourage you to fully review the terms of use and privacy policies of any such service you may elect to use.
Surveys. Reimagine Gender occasionally conducts surveys, on its own or through third parties, and retains the information submitted therein. Participating in such surveys is voluntary. Other Information We Collect

In Reimagine Gender Communications

Examples of Service-related announcements include: email verification during registration, requests for password reset, important security or server maintenance updates, upgrades, and new releases, or policy changes. These Service-related announcements are considered a fundamental part the Reimagine Gender Service, and registered users cannot opt out of these email announcements.
Promotional Announcements to Our Users. For various promotional purposes, including soliciting donations, we may from time to time send you email or other communications. Occasionally we share anonymized, non-personal, and/or aggregate information about our visitors and registered users, including forum postings, with partners or advertisers, for internal and external training purposes (including training programs that we may offer for sale), or for promotional purposes. We may publish certain anonymized, non-personal, aggregate usage statistics on our website for the interest of our users.

In such cases, those sites may choose to collect your personal information as they deem appropriate. CA Shine The Light Law / Your California Privacy Rights
California Civil Code Section 1798.83, known as the “Shine the Light” law, permits our customers who are California residents to request and obtain from us a list of what personal information (if any) we may have disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year, including the names and addresses of those third parties. Requests may be made only once a year and are free of charge. If you would like to make a request pursuant to California Civil Code Section 1798.83, you must do so in writing via email to info@reimaginegender.org, and include the phrase “Request for California Privacy Information” in the subject line and in the body of your message.
Security of Account Information. Your Member account is password protected. Please do not share your password with anyone, and remember to change your password from time to time, to keep your account secure.
Network Security. Reimagine Gender and its service providers employ a variety of encryption and security technologies and procedures to protect information, including your personally identifiable information, from unauthorized access. Please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, thus we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personally identifiable information, but we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Forum postings and Other Public Postings. As discussed above, your forum and other public postings are available to other users of the site and are therefore not secured against disclosure by other site users who may read them. Please use caution in deciding what to post online.
Management Procedures. Reimagine Gender and its partners maintain physical and electronic procedural safeguards that limit access to your personally identifiable information and other data to employees (or people working on our behalf and under confidentiality agreements) who, through the course of standard business activities or provision of the Service, need to access your personally identifiable information or other data.
Receiving Communications. If you subscribe to any optional promotional communications, you will be able to unsubscribe from these communications via a link in the footer of each such email you receive.
Editing / Deleting Your Account Information. Any registered user who establishes a Reimagine Gender Service account can view the personally identifiable information that they have submitted in connection with their account. Such information is available at the registered user’s account page, where registered users can add, edit, or delete such personally identifiable information as they see fit. Although account information can be changed or deleted as described herein, the original information may nevertheless be retained in Reimagine Gender’s archives. Please be aware that deleting your personal information from your registered user account page or deleting your account will not result in the deletion of your prior forum postings.
We may change or amend this Agreement from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in advance either through the user interface, in an email notification, or through other reasonable means. Your use of the Service after the date such changes become effective will constitute your consent to the changed policy. If you do not agree to the changes, you must immediately stop using the Service; otherwise, the new policy will apply to you.
